The online one only holds like 5 people. If it's the one I had, made by ASCII, and very outdated.
RPG Maker sucks. Hard.
And the translation of 2003, even worse. Translated by coping and pasting the words in Babblefish, no joke. XD

RM2k was crappy, I saw some REALLY good rpgs made with it though. I think a few are/were on Gaming Ground Zero.
RM2k3 was alright, I liked the new battle system and saw many screenshots of it before it came out. By the time rm2k3 came out I'd already been using gm for a year or so.
I completed a small rpg in rm2k a long time ago called The Golden Fantasy. It was alright but not all that great.

I do believe that the translated version of RM2k3 is illegal. Henceforth, I cannot permit you to talk of it any further within these boards.
And don't come complaining to me, this isn't one of my rules. It's a proboards rule (and a rule for just about any message board service you'll find)

Actually, any translation of RPG Maker is illegal, ism. It's all done without permission.

yeah ive heard that before, if its si illeagle, than why doesnt ascii clap down on the translator, or like gt rid of the translated versions on the internet. i mean they could probably make alot of monsy off of like making a new version, and translating it them selfs, dont you think?

RPG Maker's translator was a Russian named Don Miguel. ASCII never tried to prosecute him, I don't think they could 'cuz of crazy international laws. ASCII never translated for very obvious reasons; Americans would have just loaded/cracked the offical version to the internet, plus it wouldn't sell well in a US market. i know my friends web site was taken offline by the us government. what happened was when ever you tried to go there it forwarded you to this page that said the site had been taken offline because of anti-bush contentAGH, complete BS. How can you believe that? I cry for your poor naive self. IA: fixed your italics
