If you feel that a rule is not appropriate, don't be afraid to contact an ADMINISTRATOR about it.
After some discussion, we will consider the validity of the rule, and if you have a good reason for it to be invalid, we will remove it.
This does not mean that the non-mods can make an uprising and hope to overthrow a member of the moderating team. Mods are chosen because I know they will do a good job.
