I was wondering, do the blue bars in the ‘members’ area of the site represent posts by the member as a percentage relative to the total number of posts on the site, or do they represent posts by the member as compared to a constant number?

They represent your posing level. a level 1 means you have not posted enough to meet any levels. These numbers have a default value, but when I made the boards, I changed the values. They are constant. This number is also reflected with your title (Noob, Active Noob, etc.)
It's not a percentage.

Wait, do you mean those bars under the 'Posts' heading on the last column of the table? Cause it looks like the bar shows how many posts you've made compared to the total number of posts on the board. Although i'm not sure, im guessing that it is. If you look at IsmAvater's bar compared to say, Noadi, it shows that IsmAvatar has roughly posted about 3 times more, and the numbers next to the bars show this.
IsmAvatar, are you talking about the stars that are underneath the user title?

oh woops. you mean when you click the thing. Well, when I started the boards, my bar wasn't all the way up. I think it's just how many posts you have. after 1000 or whatever, then it'll be at full. It's not a percentage. Once it hits full it keeps going right and makes the table wider (I think)

Thanks, IsmAvatar—THAT'S the answer to my question And it's good news, too. Because the bars being measured as compared to a constant value means each member's achievements will not be diminished by the achievements of other members!
