How'd you get here?

I'm just wondering how everyone got here.
Please also post with a more in depth explanation.
Example, if a friend referred you, tell who, and possibly how they referred you.
if you found it via search engine, explain which one, and what the words/phrase you typed was.
if you chose other, please explain.

Now, as for me, I can't vote since I started this place, but I'll tell you a little history.
The RPG topic started up, and seeing how I was so active in it, and that restrictions had been placed upon it, and a few arguments arose, I decided I'd do the community a favor and make a RPG board.
Then, i posted in the RPG topic, and well, practically spammed the thing every third post saying to join this place rather than constantly using that thing.
A few people here suggested I find some way to advertise it, so I put it in my sig. Then whenever anyone said the word "rpg", i'd refer them to this place.
I do things for the good of the GM users, not for myself, nor for whom or what I represent. I represent to advertise a way for you to get help.

I came from the rpg topic on the gmforums... i usually get bored and look at most of the topics while im online, but i rarely sign up for any of the advertised forums.
i figured someone would need help or like an example on smething so i signed up.

noticed it in your sig, as i was checking out the GMC help forums^^ ...been thinking of starting one soon, as i'm pretty okay with code, and recently have been getting better in the spriting department as well^^

...also, love the forum so far by the way, very professionally done in my opinion, yet still feels comfortable.

i saw it in the topic and enjoy it here because scince its devoted to rpgs, you can but more specific questions, and because its smaller not have to worry getting bumped off the main page in an hour or so.

I've recently started a new RPG project so I looked in your sig for it and I found it again today.

The RPG Topic was unresistible since my favorite genre is RPGs.
