Board Logo

Well, it's simply ideal to have a logo for the boards, so if anybody wants to take a stab at it, please go ahead. I'm not sure of the dimensions it must be, but make it a reasonable size. don't make it 800x600... lol.

Please do not submit bmp images, unless they are small sized, because bmps tend to be large. if you have no choice but to make it bmp, then zip it.

you may submit your logo via email (see sig), or just post the image/link here. Then, i will select the best logos, and put them up for voting.

I'm also looking for Affiliate logos, so if anyone wants to link to the RPG boards, they can have an image.

The logo probably should not be animated, and the affiliate logo is fine if it's animated, but try to avoid it.

No definate deadline, but once I start getting more logo submittances, i'll set a deadline to soon after.

Use logic, the logo should somehow represent the RPG factor, and that it is a forum. I don't care if it straight out says "RPG forums"...

as a responce to mayhem's idea of having a banner link on the GM site, i posted these in the RPG topic on the GM forum last night (no one has said anything about them yet)

so they arent exactly logos, but its a start
if anyone has any suggestions for changes or other ideas, feel free to tell me

ps. that is the monestary Mount. Saint Michael in france (a picture i took of it when i was there the summer of '98) interesting factoid about that place, it is in a scene in the movie Armageddon (almost that same view)

Although it's lovely, it is almost not related to GM RPG's whatsoever, besides the text. I'm still looking for other submissions. thank you for your attempt, though, grasshopper.

i like makin logos, so i thought I'd have a go.
only took me half an hour, and the hardest thing was making the people transparent!

I also think it's quite nice and don't see what you mean about not related to GM RPGs. Does the banner need a big GM logo on it or something? Since I personally find the GM logo unattractive I'd have to vote for not that. As long as it's attractive and has the text I don't see why it otherwise needs to advertise what it is.

Especially because this forum is so small, loyal, literate, and friendly…I think that the monetary is a fine backdrop, it actually pertains to the forum somewhat.
