So people some of us gamemaker forums frequents probably noticed the new competition. I am not in need of a reg key, but I am entering anyways. So those of us making rpg games for the contest what kind are you doing? I personally am doing a dragon warrior style game. Its going pretty good. I'm making graphics, music everything myself. It will be good practice. So what are you(people entering in rpg category) making?

I am joining the competition. I plan to make a game using the engine i posted in thw WIP section- only the battle system will be more of a final fantasy(or zoids -gba) type one. This is to help me save time spriting (which i won't be doing much/any of anyway- im probably gonna be using www.charas-project.net graphics for the character sprites). Good luck to you guys, cya.

I'm considering joining. I probably will.
You all are very welcome to use any scripts/resources/examples you may find here or on my site. Please note, the Movement scripts may be outdated now with GM6. I'm working on updating everything for you guys. If anyone has any requests for what I should do first so you have it in time for the competition, contact me in private (as opposed to posting and hoping me to check back)

I'm thinking about it, I've been developing an engine for my 3D RPG but without model support, it's more of a top-view 2D RPG haha. To the point, I don't want to release something incomplete (releasing an incomplete 3D game with an incomplete 3D engine in 2D) but I'm up for friendly competition, though I don't need the key. Everything is made by me but I'm having help with the music.
