grrrr, i just wrote a bunch of stuff and my browser closed, and now i dont' want to type it all out again, so heres the gyst of it.
Engine:
Similar to zelda, real time, hack slash, but with stats and skills, and a more complex spell system.
Magic System:
There will be five basic elements, Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Energy, energy deals mostly with the eatherial realm and the mind, it does more, but it's really complicated.
You'll have a spell book, with which you have your written spells down, the three main ways to get a spell are: books/scrolls, npcs, or making them your self.
Graphics:
some will be from this site, i'll post it on my site, and my friend.
Story Line:
Elves, Humans, Dwarfs, Trolls, and Orcs, found means of transversing space, and they formed a small little empire in the far corner of the galaxy, (the other side from where earth is today), they were all living in peace, with some wars here and there, when suddenly the humans home planet vanished. People began to get worried, but since nothing could be done about it, so they went about there lives. But then more planets began to dissapear, soon it wasn't only humans but elves and then dwarven planets, and even the trolls planet began to dissapear. Now people began to panic, many began to evacute the planets they lived on and set out into the unknown. They found planets on the other side and began to settle in, the humans found a preastroic planet, they settled on, which was later named Earth. Most of the species found a home planet and settled there, but some remained on scattered planets through out the galaxay and some of them never gained got in conntact with the rest of their species, one such planet was known as Avalon.
Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, trolls, and orcs found a place on this little planet(really it is quite small, land mass wise any way) over the years two factions evels rose up(both playable races) two factions of trolls,(only the Trollocs are playable) and the orcs vanished, no one knows what happend to them, but grey skinned orcie looking beings did show up, centerys later, claiming to be decesendts of the greenies, what orcs became know as, so they were dubed, Greensons, (son of greenies).
tahts the gist of it, there are other playable races, some will become avaibale later, and some are native to the planet, and will be avable when i launch the game.
