I have finished quite a few game maker games already. Some of which have made it online, and one of which was an RPG.
Yesterday I finished my latest and greatest non-rpg (Dark Oblivion IV) and I want to get started on my second RPG.
However when I made my first RPG I sapped my resources dry. I can't draw, all I can do is write stories and program.
The story of my next piece is pretty much final, but since I can't draw, how do I get resources, like tilesets and backgrounds?
Furthermore, battle systems. Nuff' said. I know how to do your basic "Press to attack" action RPG thing, but are there any easy ways of going a bit beyond this?
Any sites, links, examples? I don't want to reuse my initial Oriontide stuff but I may have to.

The script was intended for GM5.
Due to the age of this post, I think I'll close it. If anyone wants to see it opened again, just PM me with the reason and I'll do so.
