i have heard the term mmorpg a few time yet i dont know what it means. can someone tell me?

Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
Online about sums it up.
A few examples include Runescape and Planeshift, along with paid Everquest and I think NeverWinterNights, but I'm not sure.
Just think of a bunch of people from all across the world, like a hundred of them, all participating in one RPG game, all seeing each other in this RPG game.
