How do you make so that the character goes from one room to another but that he appears on the coordinates that you give him before he enters that room. Like when he starts the game and appears at the Town gates. He walks arround the town and wants to enter the Inn. He goes in, and does his bussiness. But how does he go outside again? If I make him go back to the last room he'll appear once again on the town gates. P.S. if possible, post Code. IA: excessive punctuation will not be tolerated.

I believe, if I'm not mistaken, that you would have to make the character persistant.

Making the character persistent will cause the character to appear in EVERY room after the first room it appears in. All settings about that particular instance of the character would not be lost on transferring it from room to room, such as the X and Y coordinate, however returning to a room that is not persistent will not maintain the character's X and Y coordinate for that particular room, but instead for the last room it was in. Returning to a persistent room would cause the character to appear at the position it had left that room at... in addition to another instance of the character that has saved its status from the previous room.
As you can see, Persistent objects can get messy.
