I'm not one to start threads, (even though i've started some) but i think we should start communicating otherwise we'll just drift away and i really think we could get this going........so maybe we can talk about anything at all, i don't want to give this thread a specific title cuz then we'd probably go off-topic so anything at all? I'll start off what do you guys think about the next-gen consoles? i think i'm gonna get a ps3 because it's got way better specs and i've heard that the nintendo revolution doesn't intend to compete with the other consoles it wants to go in a totally different direction, i'm not sure if i'm gonna get an XBOX 360 since Fable and Elderscrolls 4 are coming out for the pc i won't need to but i'm not sure if fable 2 will be out for the pc so i think i'm gonna get all 3 consoles cuz i'm a selfish bastich [edit] what do you guys wanna talk about? music? tv? movies? comics? anyone play Guild Wars here? It's an online game maybe we could play together when i get my computer that is!!, which is almost definitely saturday or sunday somebody say something i feel like i'm in a ghost town

Well, i know that not everyone posts here everyday but i waited awhile, and i'm kinda getting sick of coming here when noones even gonna reply........
[edit]
you guys wanna talk about the meaning of lyrics to songs and why we like them or find them interesting, like the lyrics in my sig for instance?
what do you guys invision our game to look like? i'd like to post some pics to show you guys what i think it would look like, you guys could do the same.
Ism where are you man? I'm not the leader of our project so i don't think the story is up to me, so i wanna know what you're thinking, why did you get into videogames? i don't think you're the kind of person like me who would just play a game for plain stupid and simple fun, what is really your purpose for getting involved with GM? I know that you're more of a skeptic philosohper type person so i think that you have a story to tell that's why i think you should incorporate it into our game...that is if everyone's still working on it.

I've never heard of nabla. Some of the posts in there are a little pointless and... lost in the lack of thought, but there's a lot of philosophy in there too. Watch out for "Ian" though. He's unstable and prone to... swings.
I'm busy. Having trouble keeping my computer on, let alone being able to post every day. Linux and Windows don't want to hold hands.
I'm not the leader either. But we're all in it together, to post our two cents wherever and whenever we can. If it means one person happens to pop out a bunch of ideas and it becomes the storyline, that's great. If it's a compilation of several ideas, that's even better.
Wouldn't everyone? Who said I'm into videogames? You hit the nail on the head. While I believe in enjoying life, it's not just something you can tick away at with unconstructive fun. I believe in finding fun in work. Call me a workaholic if you wish, I don't care. Without work, the world moves nowhere. My purpose for playing games is to learn from them. To learn about the era (even if it's just fantasy, I love to learn about the fantasy world), to learn what makes a good game, to learn about politics and religion in theorhetical situations. etc. A friend introduced me. And me being the programming type, stuck with it. It was an easy-to-learn and logical programming language. Very few languages are logical. We're still working on the game, it's just slow. We have a good storyline, and it differs from my philosophies. That's fine, I don't wish to corrupt it with bizarre ideas that throw us all into day-long lectures and unnecessary conversion attempts. From time and again, though, I keep throwing in little aspects of philosophy that we may put into the game to make the gamer think a little (rather than brainlessly play the game)
