I put up a chat room. If you have IRC and are already fluent, just server darkmyst or irc.darkmyst.org and room #grbOtherwise...
First, you need IRC. www.mIRC.com/downloadwhen you run it, get to the control panel typing area (the rectangle at the bottom), and type this command: /server irc.darkmyst.org Then wait... then type this one: /join #grb and you're set (the new window that pops up is the chat room) I am IsmAvatar my bot is IsmBot (please don't talk to him, he doesn't talk back) |

mIRC is free. It just bugs you to buy it, but you never have to.
I'm not sure why you can't connect. PM me or, preferrably, IM me (see my contact buttons on the left), if you're having trouble setting it up, and i'll walk you through it.

if you have trouble with the server, try port 9000
sorcerynet is broken into several smaller sub-servers, and some of them may be down, some more frequently than others. Make sure you allow it to choose random servers from sorcerynet, and allow it to attempt connection more than once before giving up. If it takes too long for it to try a new server (normally after 20 seconds, it means the server is down), go into your IRC settings and down the allowance time per server.

Also, random connection is on too. I dunno why I can't connect.

AG: try other servers. If you can get on to EfNet or Dalnet... Idunno.
If you can find a good server that allows for [friendly] bots (not Efnet, tho), you're welcome to make suggestions.
