Noadi has been given roaming mod powers, that makes our first roaming mod. The first plan of action was to change the board's color scheme. tell us what you think.
My appologies to Noadi, but I had to slightly modify the color scheme, so that the different posts in a thread are not all the same color. I also had to change the link colors, since they were too close to the font color.

I changed the green to something less bright I think it's a little less glaring. Let me know what you think.

the other green was too... bright, needed shades (sorry i had to use smiley) I still stand by what i put earlier "I liked grey better" And since im putting what i like better... I like PhpBBForums better, looks so professional with some of the themes that can be uploaded. But hey, its a forum about RPG's so i dont mind

Of course phpBB forums are better but they require several things like a decent host with enough webspace, php support, and mySQL databases. All of those things are hard to come by in a free host.

I use this board because it has minimal advertisement, and is very user friendly.
Smileys are perfectly allowed, just don't abuse them. they emphasize your emotions, which is one thing that voiceless chatting lacks. Feel free to use emoticons, but only max 3 per post.
and I can upload different themes, but for the sake of dialup users (as am I), I won't because they take far too long to load.

Too much blue... Why not something dark... I like darkness... Or dark blue... Or "..."...

I picked light colors mostly for readability reasons. Some people have a very hard time reading light text on a dark background while practically everyone can read dark text on a light background easily.
Also screenshots typically look better on a lighter background, dark backgrounds tend to make them look much lighter and brighter than they really are, the green and blue can affect the perceptions of the colors too but not as much.

First reply!!! Well I kinda like the colours but it would look hella better with the background black. Also it does look good when you make colours really really light, rather than as saturated as they are here. Have a look at the new GM forum and you'll see what I mean. With the strong colours we have it makes the forum look very cartoonish.

I'll change the scheme every once in a while, if noadi doesn't. That way we can keep ourselves amused with the boards;) anywhom, I'm thinking of a good scheme, but i won't implement it anytime soon, maybe in a few weeks.

I'm sure you've noticed I changed the color scheme again. I decided it was a bit too cartoony, so I changed it based on one of my favorite sites jdillon.net. Since we'll change the colors every once and a while feel free to pm me or IsmAvatar with suggested color theme or links to sites with themes you like. Just make sure they are easy to read, like no green on red because that's a very common form of colorblindness and no sites where the text is too close in color to the bacground.

I like this theme. The colours seem to blend together better than the last theme. And I wouldn't really call this theme dark...
